Keyword Density - Incorporating Keywords Properly Into Your Website For Online Business Development

Keyword Density which is the use of keywords on your website is a crucial tool for online business development. Keywords and key phrases are the terms that people type into search engines in order to find something. Including the right keywords on your site in the right way will ensure that your website gets ranked highly for such terms, which results in a huge boost in traffic and great online business development.
One mistake that newbies commonly make with keywords is that they use too many of them. This is also known as "keyword stuffing" and while it might have worked to some degree 10 years ago, it certainly doesn't work anymore. If you use too many keywords, the visitors to your site won't be able to make sense out of what you're saying and will just bypass your page for another. Additionally, the search engines themselves will view the site as being like SPAM, and will rank you lowly or even remove you from their listings altogether.
On the other hand, some newbies think they can just place a single word or phrase once on their site and expect that to help their online business development. That is far too little, and listing a word only once won't associate your site with that phrase, especially not in very competitive industries.
So what is the correct amount of keywords to use for effective online business development? For the actual content of your page, you should try to use between a 1% and 4% keyword density. This is enough to make sure that you become aligned with these terms and phrases without using the words so much that it actually hinders your performance.
You should also include keywords in other places besides the content of each individual page. For example, the title bar for your website should have keywords in it. All of your internal links to other pages on your site that are listed on your navigation menus should have keywords in them as well. Additionally, if you don't already have a domain name, you should try to purchase one that has a keyword from your niche in it. All of these tips will help your online business development and help your site gain credibility within the search engines for being strongly related to particular words, phrases and topics.
One final note is that when you're using keywords, you want to work them in as naturally as possible into your content and into the rest of your page. Don't try to fulfill some kind of quota for your keyword density by randomly adding in keywords when they don't apply. You need to have the keywords match your content and be used appropriately, otherwise the people who visit your site will be instantly turned off.
If you follow these rules about the use of keywords on your site you should be able to greatly increase the speed and power of your online business development. Mastering this skill will take you to the top of the search engines very quickly.
